This is just a short lesson for anyone you doesn’t yet understand the importance of html linking strategies. There is no doubt in my mind that you have seen thousands of links with the words “click here” as the anchor text. For instance to learn more click here. That link is not completely useless but it doesn’t do much good for getting the page to rank for the term that we want it to rank for with is html linking. Instead of putting the link in place like that it would be better to use a good description and then use the keywords that the page is going after as the anchor text. Something like: for a better understanding of strategies for getting better search engine placement check out this article about html linking strategies.

Of course the right types of links don’t do a ton of good without first doing your keyword research. Get used to putting in a little work up front and you will be a lot better off in the long run. Good luck.
